The Morris House

For this project, we worked across several bedrooms and their adjoining en-suites, creating schemes that were linked through colour, pattern, and texture.

Project details

In the main bedroom, we used a classic William Morris floral design for the curtains, paired with a dark walnut pole for a warm, traditional feel. In the en-suite, we introduced a complementary orange Romo Linara linen to pick up on tones from the bedroom and create a subtle connection between the spaces.

In the spare room, we chose a Morris & Co. blue floral for both the double-pleated curtains and a matching roman blind, echoing the colour in the deep blue painted panelling.

For the little girl’s bedroom, we used a soft pink Chatham Glynn design with a coordinating pink pom-pom trim, paired with a small green Hellebore print and Encore blue accents. We then used a blue Chatham Glynn print with matching pom-pom trim for the double-pleated curtains and blinds.

We carried these fabrics and colours through to the en-suites, ensuring each room felt individual but still part of a cohesive, flowing scheme.
